  • Gritex Technologies

    GRITEX®

    GRITEX® is a waterproof resistant membrane designed to be used as a one-piece lining, which helps avoid seams and potential weak points where water could penetrate. This membrane is particularly effective for the majority of uses, as it provides not only protection against water but also warmth due to the foam integrated into the lining.

    However, it's important to note that the upper (the top part of the shoe) does not cover the shoe entirely, stopping approximately 1/3 of an inch inside. This means there is always a possibility of water infiltration through the sole, especially in very wet environments. For users who frequently operate in wet conditions, it is recommended to look for a product specifically designed to be fully waterproof.

    In summary, GRITEX® is ideal for general use, offering warmth and protection, but for environments that are consistently wet, careful attention should be given when choosing footwear.

  • Spo-Tex Technologies

    The material used in our footwear comes from the skin of animals, specifically high-quality leather. One of the primary advantages of this natural material is its breathability, which allows for better moisture management and comfort.     The upper part of the shoe, often referred to as the top, is typically made from tough and durable materials like leather or lighter alternatives such as suede. At Grisport, we prioritize the use of the best leather available globally, as selecting high-quality leather is crucial for ensuring breathability, performance, and exceptional comfort.

    Our leather is rigorously tested to provide maximum waterproof protection, with thicknesses ranging between 2 mm and 2.2 mm.   • For arch support: an anatomical and perforated insole for fantastic breathability. It is antibacterial, removable and odor resistant. It can be removed for the insertion of orthopedic insoles.

  • The component between the insole and the outsole, it acts as a shock absorber, helping to protect your feet and provide superior comfort. The Grisport sole stabilizer provides support for the arch of the foot and is torsion resistant to ensure maximum stability when walking and reduce flexing on uneven ground.

  • The outsole is the rubber or TPR strip that runs along the bottom of the shoe. The deeper lugs tend to be more effective in rough conditions, while the shallower lugs offer more comfort for rockier trails.
